South Korean girl group Nmixx achieved Nmixx chart success by claiming the top spot on Melon’s monthly chart for November, JYP Entertainment confirmed Tuesday. This represents the first time the six-member group reached number one on the platform.
The track “Blue Valentine” has consistently led Melon’s Top 100, as well as daily and weekly charts, since its mid-October release. The song recorded the longest daily chart run for a K-pop group this year, reflecting its popularity. Nmixx also won eight trophies from domestic music television programs for this single.
“Blue Valentine” is the lead single from Nmixx’s first full-length studio album of the same name. The 12-track album follows three single albums and four extended plays previously released. It highlights Nmixx’s musical growth and expanded discography.
Over the weekend, Nmixx held its first stand-alone concert in South Korea, more than three and a half years after debut. The two-day show marked the start of their international tour, “Episode 1: Zero Frontier.” Tour destinations will be announced soon.
Analysts say Nmixx chart success shows the group’s increasing domestic popularity and potential international reach. Their consistent releases and fan engagement have strengthened their position in K-pop.
JYP Entertainment highlighted that Nmixx’s achievements reflect both musical development and strategic planning in the competitive industry. Fans eagerly await future albums and performances.
With continued momentum, Nmixx is expected to grow globally, leveraging touring and future releases to expand their audience. Nmixx chart success may signal the group’s lasting presence in the K-pop market.
