The China-EU strategic dialogue took center stage this week in Brussels, as top officials from both sides discussed key global issues. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas co-chaired the 13th round of this high-level exchange.
At the meeting, Wang Yi urged Europe to maintain an objective and pragmatic approach to China. Furthermore, he emphasized that China-EU strategic dialogue should serve as a foundation for cooperation—not rivalry. According to Wang, Europe’s current challenges are not rooted in China, and both sides share far more common ground than conflict.
