Belarus and Mongolia are actively boosting industrial cooperation to strengthen their economic partnership. This effort took center stage during a recent meeting between Belarusian Industry Minister Andrei Kuznetsov and Dmitry Gorelik, Belarus’ Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Mongolia. According to the Industry Ministry’s press service, the talks aimed to further develop trade and economic relations between the two nations.
Alongside the minister and ambassador, directors from major holding companies under Belarus’ Industry Ministry participated in the meeting. These leaders reviewed the progress made since a Belarusian delegation visited Mongolia’s capital, Ulaanbaatar, in February 2025. That visit aimed to lay the groundwork for expanding industrial cooperation and trade between the countries.
During the discussions, participants highlighted key achievements to date. They shared updates on deliveries of agricultural machinery, trucks, and related equipment. Moreover, the group discussed advancements in grain-cleaning and drying complexes, which play a vital role in Mongolia’s agricultural sector. The meeting also covered the ongoing setup of assembly facilities, a project that both countries view as essential to boosting their industrial ties.
Minister Kuznetsov stressed that both countries must increase efforts to support joint industrial projects and initiatives. He believes focusing on industrial cooperation will create new opportunities and accelerate growth in both economies. Meanwhile, Ambassador Gorelik expressed his full support for Belarusian enterprises seeking to enter the Mongolian market. He promised that the embassy would assist companies in implementing cooperative ventures and overcoming challenges.
The meeting represents another important step in achieving long-term strategic goals. Belarus aims to develop its industrial potential while Mongolia looks to benefit from the expertise and technology Belarus offers. Both nations view this industrial cooperation as a way to diversify their economies and enhance global economic connections. Furthermore, the discussions underscored a mutual commitment to building stronger business ties.
Both sides agreed that expanding industrial cooperation will foster innovation, competitiveness, and sustainable growth. They also recognized that ongoing dialogue and support at the governmental level remain critical. As Belarus and Mongolia continue strengthening industrial cooperation, they set a foundation for future success. The partnership promises to open doors for new ventures and deepen the economic relationship between the two countries. This cooperation signals a positive outlook for industry and trade in the region.
