Billboard 200 Rankings: Twice, KPop Soundtrack, Ateez Score Big Gains

Billboard 200 rankings showed strong K-pop representation this week with major artists reaching the top ten once again. Furthermore, the latest update highlights impressive achievements from Twice, the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack, and Ateez.

Specifically, Billboard 200 rankings placed Twice at No. 6 with their fourth full-length album, This Is For. This marks the group’s seventh time landing in the top ten. Consequently, the consistent success reflects their growing popularity across international music markets.

In addition, the KPop Demon Hunters original soundtrack continued its powerful run. It climbed to No. 5 during its fourth week on the chart. Notably, this animated Netflix film’s soundtrack debuted at No. 8 and quickly rose to No. 2. It now holds the record for the highest-charting soundtrack of 2025.

Moreover, Billboard data revealed a rare trend. Remarkably, the KPop Demon Hunters album is the only soundtrack since 2014 to increase units for three straight weeks after debut. That makes it a standout in recent Billboard 200 rankings history.

Meanwhile, Ateez reentered the Billboard 200 at No. 7 with their 12th EP, Golden Hour: Part 3. Initially, the mini album debuted at No. 2 earlier this year. The group’s reentry followed the launch of a special edition titled In Your Fantasy.

These movements reflect growing international influence in the U.S. music market. Indeed, K-pop acts are proving their staying power through multiple chart appearances and reentries. The numbers show dedicated fanbases continue to drive digital and physical sales.

Additionally, music critics noted the consistent rise in soundtrack appeal. With a mix of powerful vocals and compelling visuals, KPop Demon Hunters reached audiences beyond typical genre boundaries.

As a result, fan engagement drives performance, and Billboard 200 rankings are becoming a key battleground for global music acts. Ultimately, the success of Twice, Ateez, and the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack shows the expanding power of K-pop worldwide.

Moving forward, more releases from top Korean groups are expected to shake up the charts again. Audiences can expect new competition and continued K-pop dominance in future Billboard 200 rankings.
