China Guyana relations gained renewed momentum on Wednesday as Chinese President Xi Jinping congratulated Mohamed Irfaan Ali on his reelection as president of the Cooperative Republic of Guyana. Xi extended his message of goodwill and reaffirmed Beijing’s commitment to enhancing bilateral ties.
Xi highlighted that Guyana was among the earliest Caribbean nations to establish diplomatic relations with China. He noted that this early decision laid a strong foundation for a lasting partnership.
