China-Mongolia Expo 2025 Boosts Trade and Innovation

The China-Mongolia Expo 2025 opened in Hohhot, the capital of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China. Over 350 Mongolian companies showcase more than 700 products, including wool, cashmere, leather, cosmetics, souvenirs, and food items. They aim to highlight their products’ quality and competitive advantages. This event demonstrates Mongolia’s strong export capabilities while promoting traditional manufacturing.

The expo also strengthens international business partnerships. It enables companies to explore new investment opportunities, exchange expertise, and introduce innovative technologies. Additionally, the event fosters cultural, social, and technical cooperation between Mongolia and China. Attendees can expand market access and form joint ventures, boosting bilateral trade.

Jambaltseren Tumur-Uya, Mongolia’s State Secretary of Food, Agriculture, and Light Industry, opened the expo. He emphasized the event’s role in deepening Mongolia-China relations. “The China-Mongolia Expo 2025 builds on our 75-year diplomatic friendship,” Tumur-Uya said. He noted that bilateral trade reached USD 18.6 billion in 2024. The two nations aim to raise trade to USD 20 billion soon.

The China-Mongolia Expo 2025 features exhibitions, forums, and a joint conference on science and innovation. It also includes an investment forum focused on agriculture. These activities promote green development, food security, and climate resilience. Organizers aim to foster mutually beneficial and balanced economic growth.

Moreover, Mongolia plans to establish a Livestock, Manufacturing, and Technology Eco-Park. This initiative will integrate animal husbandry, agriculture, and manufacturing networks using advanced electronic technologies. The project also explores blockchain and artificial intelligence to enhance trade efficiency and innovation.

The expo continues until August 29, offering opportunities for both countries. It encourages cooperation in energy, digital economy, and climate initiatives. By combining trade, innovation, and cultural exchange, the event creates a platform for sustainable collaboration.

Overall, the China-Mongolia Expo 2025 strengthens Mongolia’s export competitiveness while boosting bilateral partnerships with China. The event exemplifies trade growth, technological innovation, and long-term regional cooperation.
