In the women’s doubles final, top-ranked Wang Manyu and Kuai Man defeated Hina Hayata of Japan and Joo Cheon-hui of South Korea 3-1. The Chinese pair lost the opening game 11-6 but quickly adapted. They won the second game 11-8, saved four game points to take the third 13-11, and held their nerves to claim the fourth 12-10.
