China’s Global Economic Expansion Gains Momentum

Date:

China’s global economic expansion remains a key focus for Premier Li Qiang, who reaffirmed support for Chinese enterprises abroad. On Tuesday, Li met with business leaders in Brazil to discuss economic trends and future strategies. During the meeting, Li said China’s economy can withstand global challenges and still achieve long-term growth. He noted that since the start of the year, the economy has shown strong resilience and steady momentum.

Meanwhile, representatives from several major companies joined the session. Attendees included local heads from Bank of China, Great Wall Motor, State Grid, Goldwind, COFCO, Gree Electric, Dahua Technology, and ZTT Group. In response, Li praised Chinese firms for expanding internationally and strengthening their global operations. He said their efforts now play a growing role in supporting the domestic economy.

Moreover, he emphasized the strong performance of China’s economy in the first half of the year. Rising domestic demand and breakthroughs in innovation continue to drive steady progress. To build on this, Li pledged enhanced government services and policy backing. He promised stronger platforms for trade, deeper cooperation, and more efficient overseas service systems.

In addition, he also announced increased assistance in areas like financing, credit insurance, policy guidance, and security. These measures aim to create a more supportive global business environment. Furthermore, Li stressed that China’s global economic expansion must continue, even amid rising global uncertainty. He warned of growing protectionism and barriers in international trade and investment.

At the same time, he acknowledged new opportunities emerging from ongoing technological revolutions and industrial transformation. He encouraged firms to take initiative and boost their international strategies. He advised Chinese companies to invest in branding, improve strategic planning, and raise the competitiveness of Chinese products and innovations. Additionally, he also urged deeper engagement with local markets.

Specifically, Li suggested that firms use Brazil as a platform for broader expansion into Latin America. He urged them to offer products that align with local consumer demand. Above all, he reminded businesses to respect local laws, cultural norms, and maintain responsible practices. He called for strong corporate behavior and a positive global image.

As a result, business leaders pledged to expand in finance, energy, agriculture, and technology. They also committed to strengthening ties with Brazil and the wider Latin American market. Ultimately, China’s global economic expansion continues to shape its international strategy, aiming for mutual growth and deeper cooperation with global partners.
