Leaders of China’s top political advisory body met in Beijing to advance the CPC Guiding Principles after the fourth plenary session of the 20th Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee. The meeting focused on how these principles will shape the nation’s future economic and political direction.
Moreover, Wang Huning, chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and member of the CPC Central Committee’s Political Bureau Standing Committee, led the session. He urged members to align national strategies with the CPC Guiding Principles to drive steady progress in Chinese modernization.
During the meeting, participants reviewed the Recommendations for Formulating the 15th Five-Year Plan for Economic and Social Development. They agreed the plan would influence key areas of governance, innovation, and social advancement. Additionally, officials said it would also reinforce national unity and improve long-term stability.
At the same time, CPPCC leaders called on political advisors to study the plenary resolutions closely. They urged them to integrate the CPC Guiding Principles into all aspects of their work, from policy research to community engagement. This approach, they noted, ensures that modernization efforts stay aligned with Party objectives.
In addition, the meeting also evaluated progress made during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. Attendees recognized significant achievements in technology, infrastructure, and environmental protection. Yet, they emphasized that sustained effort is vital to connect short-term gains with long-term national goals.
Furthermore, the CPPCC encouraged cooperation among political parties, social groups, and ethnic communities. Leaders stressed that collaboration will strengthen consensus, improve policy execution, and promote unity. This collective participation supports the broader goal of advancing national development through shared responsibility.
Looking forward, the CPPCC plans to enhance education, policy studies, and public awareness. These initiatives aim to deepen understanding and accelerate the application of the CPC Guiding Principles across all levels of governance.
Ultimately, by reinforcing cooperation and focus, China’s leadership continues to build momentum for modernization guided by the CPC Guiding Principles.
