Observers noted Ju-ae’s presence at her father’s side during these significant moments.
Although the North Korean state report mentioned Kim’s arrival, it omitted Ju-ae’s role. Yet photographs showed her standing next to her father during the official welcome. This contrast between reporting and imagery added intrigue to the event.

He described it as a calculated effort to showcase her as a potential successor. According to him, participation in such events helps secure recognition from strategic partners.
Furthermore, Ju-ae has recently joined Kim in other diplomatic activities. She visited the Russian Embassy in Pyongyang for Russia’s Victory Day and later attended a cultural performance with Russia’s culture minister. These steps illustrate a gradual introduction of Ju-ae to diplomatic circles.
