Mongolia Welcomes Uzbekistan President in Historic Visit

The President of Uzbekistan visits Mongolia in a historic and warmly received state visit. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and First Lady Ziroat Mirziyoyeva arrived at Mongolia’s Sukhbaatar Square. They received an official welcome from Mongolia’s President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa and First Lady Bolortsetseg Luvsandorj. The welcoming ceremony began with the Commander of the State Honor Guard reporting to the Presidents. Following that, the national anthems of Mongolia and Uzbekistan were played, symbolizing the unity and respect between the two nations. Then, both Presidents paid tribute to the State Ceremonial White Military Banner.

President Mirziyoyev personally greeted the Mongolian State Honor Guard, showing mutual respect and friendship. After the formal honors, the two leaders exchanged greetings with their delegations. They also met with heads of diplomatic missions and representatives from international organizations based in Mongolia. This engagement demonstrated the broad scope of the visit, touching diplomatic, cultural, and international relations. Next, the Presidents visited the statue of the Great Emperor Chinggis Khaan. This important monument represents Mongolia’s historical pride and heritage. During this visit, President Mirziyoyev signed the Book of Honored Guests at the State Palace.
