Mongolian Business Delegation Explores Trade Opportunities in Czech Republic

Date:

Over 100 Mongolian business owners are participating in the Mongolian-Czech Business Forum in Prague, aiming to strengthen economic ties and explore new trade opportunities with Czech counterparts.

The delegation, which includes representatives from the food, agriculture, light industry, health, education, mining, and energy sectors, is engaging in discussions to establish partnerships and agreements that could bolster bilateral trade and investment.

Industry-Focused Business Tours

As part of the forum, Mongolian business representatives were divided into three groups for industry-specific visits on March 11.

  • Textile Industry: One group toured Nova Mosilana, the largest textile factory in the Czech Republic. With a century-long history and an annual production capacity of 9 million meters of fabric, the factory supplies high-quality textiles to major Italian brands. The visit provided Mongolian entrepreneurs with insights into advanced textile manufacturing techniques.
  • Meat Processing: Another group visited a meat processing plant, exchanging expertise with Czech professionals on food production and supply chain management. The discussions focused on enhancing food safety standards and production efficiency in Mongolia’s meat industry.
  • Agriculture and Light Industry: The third group explored Czech innovations in agriculture and industrial manufacturing, seeking potential collaborations that could enhance Mongolia’s domestic production capabilities.

The Mongolian delegation aims to leverage these engagements to introduce advanced technology and expertise into their respective industries while fostering long-term trade relationships with Czech enterprises.
