P&G Korea Taps Internships to Secure Gen Z Talent Pipeline

P&G Korea is actively deepening its connection with Generation Z through focused recruitment and targeted brand campaigns. As younger consumers and job seekers gain influence, the company is strengthening its youthful, energetic image.

To start, P&G Korea is using internships to draw in top Gen Z talent. These programs offer hands-on job training and a path to full-time roles. Recently, 15 interns visited the company’s Asia-Pacific headquarters. During their trip, they joined career workshops, met senior executives, and toured innovation labs.

Additionally, marketing plays a key role in building brand ties with Gen Z. For example, P&G’s Downy brand named IVE’s Jang Won-young as its new face. This move connects the brand with young, fashion-conscious consumers. At the same time, it launched a fresh version of its fabric softener to drive interest.

Another example is Pampers. The brand chose influencer Ralral to reach young parents. Her honest and playful content resonates with today’s digital-native consumers. As a result, these campaigns help Gen Z feel more connected to P&G’s values.
