South Korea SC Bank Hi Account Offers Higher Rates

Date:

Standard Chartered Bank Korea introduced the new SC Hi Account to attract more customers with competitive benefits. The account offers interest rates of up to 2.6 percent annually, giving savers an opportunity to grow deposits faster.

The base rate starts at 0.1 percent, but customers can earn up to 2.5 percentage points in additional interest. The exact boost depends on several factors, including daily balance and account activity. This structure makes the South Korea SC Bank Hi Account flexible and appealing for a range of depositors.

For example, balances qualify for between 1.2 and 2.0 percentage points in bonus interest. Customers also gain 0.1 percentage points by opening an account through an affiliate channel. Those who agree to marketing receive another 0.2 percentage points. Additionally, priority banking clients collect an extra 0.2 percentage points.

Moreover, first-time customers enjoy a special rate of 2.0 percentage points, regardless of balance. This introductory benefit increases the appeal of the South Korea SC Bank Hi Account for new savers who want higher returns immediately.

The bank also created incentives for customers who maintain larger balances. Anyone keeping at least 10 million won on key evaluation dates can receive 10,000 won in cashback. Along with that, a raffle gives one customer 1 million won and ten others 100,000 won each.

Beyond interest and prizes, the bank included valuable fee waivers. Hi Account holders do not pay fees for internet or mobile transfers. They also enjoy free after-hours ATM use at SC Bank, fee-free transfers to other banks via SC ATMs, and free withdrawals from external ATMs. Automatic transfers from other banks also come without charges.

Through these measures, Standard Chartered Bank Korea combines competitive rates with meaningful perks. Customers save on transaction fees while maximizing earnings on deposits. The South Korea SC Bank Hi Account therefore offers both financial growth and daily convenience.

By blending attractive interest with cashback rewards, SC Bank Korea strengthens its position in the competitive retail banking market. At the same time, the account highlights the bank’s commitment to customer-friendly services and modern digital banking solutions.
