South Korea’s Construction Firm HanmiGlobal Wins Major Contracts

Date:

HanmiGlobal contracts in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia total 47 billion won, or $33.6 million. Therefore, the deals represent about 19 percent of the company’s total sales last year. Moreover, these wins strengthen HanmiGlobal’s presence in the Middle East and boost its influence. With these projects, the company continues expanding its portfolio in smart city and sustainable development initiatives. Consequently, it positions itself as a leading construction firm in the region.

In Kuwait, HanmiGlobal won three supervision and consulting contracts from the Public Authority for Housing and Welfare, valued at around 31 billion won. These projects include apartment complexes, public buildings, and roads in South Saad Al-Abdullah, a new city near Kuwait City. Furthermore, the city is designed as a “Korean-style smart city,” reflecting strong cooperation between South Korea and Kuwait. HanmiGlobal’s expertise in urban planning helped secure these deals. As a result, the firm reinforces its credibility in local markets.

The company works alongside Korea Land and Housing Corporation on the city’s master plan and program management. In addition, these contracts demonstrate the firm’s proven project management skills. Therefore, HanmiGlobal emphasizes long-term growth through strategic partnerships. The firm also continues to build trust in the region. Consequently, it prepares for future smart city and infrastructure projects.

Meanwhile, HanmiGlobal won a 16 billion won contract for Saudi Arabia’s Green Riyadh program, a $10 billion urban renewal project under Saudi Vision 2030. The initiative aims to plant 7.5 million trees and restore the urban ecosystem. In addition, HanmiGlobal will oversee project management and quality assurance for a 22-square-kilometer green space. This assignment highlights the company’s expertise in sustainable urban development. Moreover, it demonstrates the firm’s ability to handle large-scale environmental projects successfully.

Since entering Saudi Arabia, HanmiGlobal has expanded its presence across the Middle East. Its projects include worker housing in Neom City and project management for a high-rise residential tower in Mecca. Furthermore, the company continues leveraging its skills to support eco-friendly and smart city initiatives. Officials note that the Middle East offers abundant opportunities due to oil wealth and ongoing infrastructure investments. Therefore, HanmiGlobal continues to explore strategic growth opportunities in the region.

With these contracts, HanmiGlobal strengthens its position in smart city construction and environmental development. Additionally, the deals reflect rising demand for professional project management and sustainable infrastructure. Consequently, HanmiGlobal contracts highlight the company’s growing influence in key Middle East markets. These wins set the stage for continued expansion and regional leadership.
