Stray Kids Dominates Mexico with Explosive Energy

Date:

The energy was electric as Stray Kids dominates Mexico during their first-ever concert in the country. At exactly 7 p.m. on Saturday, the lights dimmed at Estadio GNP Seguros in Mexico City. Thousands of fans roared as red light sticks illuminated the stadium.

The show marked the end of the group’s Latin American tour. After successful concerts in Chile, Brazil, and Peru, Mexico became their final stop. This visit also marked Stray Kids’ first appearance in the country since their debut in 2018.

Stray Kids, under JYP Entertainment, drew 115,000 fans across two sold-out nights. They became the first Korean boy band to sell out two shows at this 65,000-capacity venue. Global stars like Taylor Swift and Paul McCartney have previously performed there.

The group opened the night with high-energy tracks like “Mountains,” “Thunderous,” and “JJAM.” Fans screamed every lyric in both Korean and English, proving their dedication. Bang Chan thanked the crowd warmly, saying, “You’ve waited a long time. Thank you so much.”

Stray Kids dominates Mexico not just through music but also their connection with fans. Throughout the night, the members spoke in Spanish. Bang Chan even used local slang and improvised a rap with the phrase “¿qué te pasa?” Fans responded with tears, laughter, and cheers.

Subunit performances brought another layer of excitement. Han and Felix brought a strong hip-hop vibe with “Truman.” Changbin and I.N. rocked the stage with “Burnin’ Tires.” Meanwhile, Bang Chan and Hyunjin delivered a smooth duet, and Seungmin and Lee Know offered emotional vocals.

As the concert progressed, hits like “S-Class” and “GIANT” kept fans on their feet. Slower tracks like “Lonely St.” and “I am YOU” created an emotional shift under the glow of a full moon.

The group’s creativity and hands-on approach to music have set them apart. They write and produce their songs, blending genres with confidence. Since 2022, Stray Kids have topped the Billboard 200 six times and entered the Hot 100 three times.

Stray Kids dominates Mexico through not just music, but a sense of belonging. Songs like “Social Path” and “MEGAVERSE” resonate deeply with youth searching for hope and identity. Their performance in Mexico proved they are more than idols—they are global voices.

They closed with “MIROH,” “Chk Chk Boom,” and the surprise track “Hall of Fame.” As the show ended, the crowd roared louder than ever. With a promise to return, Stray Kids left a powerful mark.

Their world tour now moves forward, but this moment proved one thing clearly: Stray Kids dominates Mexico with heart, power, and unity.
