TXT Renews Contracts to Begin Next Chapter Together

Date:

TXT renews contracts, breaking through K-pop’s seven-year curse and stepping into a powerful new chapter as a united group.

On Friday night, fans at Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome witnessed an unforgettable moment during the opening of TXT’s fourth world tour. As the concert neared its conclusion, leader Soobin shared heartfelt words through a handwritten letter. He explained that the group had long prepared for this announcement, eager to fulfill their promise of staying together.

Soobin revealed that all five members officially renewed their contracts with Big Hit Music. He thanked fans for standing with them since their debut and promised to continue their journey into “the next tomorrow.” His words drew overwhelming cheers from the crowd, who celebrated the milestone with the group.

TXT first debuted in March 2019 with their album “The Dream Chapter: Star.” Since then, they have risen as one of K-pop’s most influential acts, carrying the torch passed by their senior labelmates. Many idol groups face disbandment when exclusive seven-year contracts expire, but TXT renews contracts early, securing their future together.

In a follow-up statement, Big Hit Music announced its full support for both group activities and individual projects. The agency encouraged fans to anticipate TXT’s next chapter with confidence and excitement.

The concert also delivered another surprise for fans. Each member performed solo tracks from their fourth LP, “The Star Chapter: Together,” for the very first time. Taehyun moved hearts with his gentle performance of “Bird of Night.” Soobin brought playful charm with “Sunday Driver.” Yeonjun captivated with the fierce “Ghost Girl.” Beomgyu expressed raw emotion through “Take My Half.” Finally, Huening Kai stunned with the dramatic “Dance With You.”

The performances highlighted each member’s unique artistry while underscoring their collective strength as a group. Their decision to stay together signals more music, tours, and growth ahead.

Ultimately, TXT renews contracts not only to defy expectations but also to inspire fans worldwide. Their bond, persistence, and vision ensure that the group continues moving forward into tomorrow.
