To begin with, President Xi Jinping has repeatedly emphasized that women play a vital role in global progress. During the 2015 United Nations meeting on gender equality, he clearly stated that women are essential to achieving social advancement. Since then, China has turned this vision into action, developing numerous programs that benefit women around the world.
Furthermore, across developing regions, China’s initiatives continue to focus on improving health and education. In Bangladesh, the remarkable story of Alifa Chin, a young girl whose life was saved by Chinese medical aid, perfectly symbolizes these efforts. Her enduring bond with Chinese doctors later inspired her dream of becoming a physician. Since 2018, China has steadily expanded these training initiatives. It has launched over one hundred programs focusing on women and children, training nearly four thousand participants. So far, this fund has invested more than forty million dollars in projects supporting women.
