Taichung City, along with Nantou and Changhua counties, collaborated with STARLUX Airlines to host 25 leading Thai travel agencies. During their visit, the agencies explored natural landscapes in Nantou and cultural sites in Changhua.
Chen Mei-hsiu, director of Taichung’s Tourism and Travel Bureau, emphasized the agencies’ positive impressions. She noted that Thai tourism shows great potential due to the area’s diverse attractions. Furthermore, the visitors praised the region’s natural scenery and rich cultural heritage.
Central Taiwan has been encouraging more international flight routes. By doing so, officials hope to make the region more accessible to foreign travelers.
