To begin with, the MAEXTRO S800 sedan drew significant attention. Jointly developed by JAC Motors and Huawei, the luxury vehicle showcases China’s cutting-edge manufacturing and technological creativity in smart mobility. Visitors flocked to the exhibition to admire its elegant design and advanced features.
Meanwhile, the MAEXTRO Super Factory in Hefei produces the sedan. The facility uses digital twin technology and artificial intelligence to track each process. Furthermore, more than 1,800 robots complete stamping, welding, painting, and assembly with full automation, showcasing another step in industrial innovation.
In addition, NIO showcased achievements at its Second Manufacturing Base in Hefei. The facility now functions as both a production center and a tourist attraction. Its three-dimensional storage system increases efficiency and speeds up vehicle retrieval. Furthermore, more than 900 robots ensure fully automated body shop operations, demonstrating how advanced manufacturing enhances large-scale automobile production.
At the same time, Lenovo presented its ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable Laptop. The model expands its display from 14 to 16.7 inches. Predictably, the design drew praise from global tech fans. The laptop is built at LCFC in Hefei, which makes 40 million units a year. This scale demonstrates how industrial innovation supports electronics manufacturing.
Battery leader Gotion High-Tech also stressed the importance of unified standards. Executives explained that consistent systems across global bases enhance quality and reputation, proving how industrial innovation spreads across borders.
Robot maker EFORT displayed welding and painting systems alongside robotic hands and other new products. International automakers such as BMW and Maserati already use its robots. The company emphasized how industrial innovation enables smarter, faster, and safer production.
Volkswagen confirmed progress at its MEB plant in Anhui. The facility ranks among its most advanced worldwide. Leaders announced plans to launch 50 electrified models in China by 2030. Stronger partnerships with Chinese firms illustrate how industrial innovation accelerates development.
Auto parts supplier Marelli praised China’s ability to combine manufacturing and research. Since 1999, it has built eight R&D centers and 17 factories in the country. The firm continues to rely on industrial innovation to serve both local and international markets.
China remains a major magnet for foreign investment. In 2024, foreign direct investment exceeded 826 billion yuan. High-tech manufacturing contributed nearly 12 percent of the total, reinforcing confidence in the nation’s industrial innovation.
