Spotify Milestone: Jungkook Breaks Records for Asian Solo Artist

Jungkook, member of the globally renowned group BTS, recently hit a remarkable Spotify milestone with his solo music. The artist surpassed 9.6 billion streams on the platform, further establishing his dominance among Asian solo artists. This Spotify milestone highlights his rapid rise and widespread popularity across the globe.

His solo tracks have consistently drawn significant attention, with four songs exceeding one billion streams each. These include “Seven (Feat. Latto),” “Standing Next to You,” “3D (Feat. Jack Harlow),” and the collaboration with Charlie Puth titled “Left and Right.” Notably, “Seven” is the first track by any Asian artist to surpass 2.5 billion streams on Spotify.

Additionally, Jungkook’s album Golden became the first Asian solo album to generate six billion streams. This achievement not only reflects his individual talent but also signals the increasing global influence of Asian artists in the music industry.

He also holds the distinction of being the first Asian solo artist to have every track from his releases reach at least 100 million plays. To date, 19 of his songs have crossed this threshold.
