China Hosts Global Sci-Tech Exchange Events

Date:

China will host dozens of international sci-tech exchange activities in October to strengthen global scientific cooperation. The sci-tech exchange campaign, led by the China Association for Science and Technology, or CAST, aims to foster openness, trust, and collaboration within the international research community.

Organizers plan around 60 events across 15 provinces and municipalities, including Beijing, Shanghai, and Zhejiang. In addition, five foreign countries, including France and Brazil, will participate, further highlighting China’s commitment to global sci-tech exchange.

The campaign will bring together international scientific organizations, local governments, and provincial sci-tech associations. Moreover, these collaborations aim to create a fair and inclusive platform for scientists to exchange ideas and best practices. Experts say such efforts promote innovative research and build lasting partnerships.

Over 20 professional academic events will highlight cutting-edge technologies and emerging strategic industries. Major meetings include the 2025 International Conference of Physiological Sciences and the 16th Asia Pacific Physics Conference. These gatherings give scientists opportunities to explore technological frontiers and exchange knowledge through international science and technology collaboration.

Meanwhile, over 10 multilateral and bilateral sci-tech exchange activities will deepen dialogue among Chinese and international researchers. Participants will discuss concepts, methodologies, and practical applications, fostering mutual understanding and collaborative innovation. Experts emphasize that these exchanges can accelerate technology development and scientific progress worldwide.

In addition, organizers aim to strengthen connections between universities, research institutes, and industry partners. By combining academic knowledge with real-world applications, China hopes to enhance the global impact of its scientific research. Furthermore, such initiatives encourage young researchers to engage in international projects and expand their professional networks through sci-tech exchange programs.

Officials highlight that this campaign represents China’s broader strategy to strengthen its role in global science and technology. By encouraging cross-border cooperation, the country aims to address complex global challenges. Looking forward, CAST intends to keep organizing international science and technology collaboration events and broaden partnerships with additional countries.

Overall, the upcoming sci-tech exchange activities demonstrate China’s dedication to fostering innovation, building international scientific networks, and promoting technological development worldwide.
