Officials plan to modernize operations alongside the wage increase. The city is purchasing new cleaning and maintenance equipment directly from manufacturers. Enterprises will receive this equipment through concessional loans, encouraging modernization without placing heavy financial burdens on companies. Mayor Nyambaatar urged companies to place orders for tools and machinery before winter arrives to ensure timely deployment.
The new equipment will allow a single vehicle to handle multiple functions, including snow plowing, garbage collection, and sweeping. Starting next year, city authorities also intend to mechanize the washing of road dividers and barriers. This approach aims to reduce manual labor, improve efficiency, and strengthen urban service quality.
The discussion also covered winter preparations, maintenance of green spaces, and planning for next year’s cleaning services. Officials stressed that with wage increase policies and upgraded equipment, the city will demand higher standards of performance from sector companies.
