Mongolia Poland Partnership deepened on September 29, 2025, when Head of the Cabinet Secretariat Byambatsogt Sandag met a delegation led by Stanisław Gorczyca. The discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations and exploring practical cooperation across multiple sectors.
During the meeting, Byambatsogt emphasized Poland’s role as a key third neighbor and trusted European partner. He highlighted Mongolia’s commitment to fostering mutually beneficial initiatives in trade, education, culture, science, and environmental management.
The meeting followed the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Poland. Earlier this year, President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa conducted a state visit to Warsaw in March, where both nations signed agreements advancing cooperation in trade, economy, geology, and other sectors. These agreements elevated the relationship to the level of a Comprehensive Partnership.
Chairman Stanisław Gorczyca introduced his delegation and stressed Poland’s interest in expanding collaborative projects. He noted progress in existing programs and expressed readiness to explore further opportunities in economic and legislative areas.
Additionally, discussions covered parliamentary cooperation. Zoljargal Jargalsaikhan, member of the State Great Khural and chairman of the Mongolia-Poland Parliamentary Group, emphasized the importance of legislative exchanges. Topics included sharing best practices in lawmaking, oversight mechanisms, and anti-corruption policies.
Officials noted that strengthening parliamentary ties would complement broader diplomatic efforts and promote transparency, governance, and sustainable development initiatives. Both sides agreed that future collaboration could enhance trade flows, educational programs, and cultural exchanges.
Experts view Mongolia Poland Partnership as a strategic move to diversify Mongolia’s international relations while solidifying European connections. Analysts believe this partnership could create new investment opportunities, foster knowledge transfer, and support regional stability.
