Big Ocean Triumph dominated headlines at the TikTok Awards 2025 in Seoul, as it earned the Social Impact Artist award for championing diversity and inclusion. The win therefore cemented the trio’s influence as advocates for social awareness through music and performance.
The star-studded event took place at Korea University’s Hwajeong Gymnasium, drawing over 3,000 fans and creators. Moreover, K-pop acts including Ive’s Rei, Cortis, Close Your Eyes, KiiiKiii, Meovv, QWER, and The Boyz delivered high-energy performances throughout the evening, thus showcasing the genre’s growing synergy with TikTok.
Rei won Best Trend Leader, recognized for her unique style and influence on short-form content. Meanwhile, Cortis took home the Global Rookie award, while Close Your Eyes earned New Wave Artist honors. In addition, KiiiKiii received New Rising Artist recognition, and Meovv was awarded Best Impact for striking visuals and bold concepts. Furthermore, QWER captured Best Popularity, engaging fans through playful content. The Boyz closed the ceremony, winning Best Performance of the Year.
Big Ocean Triumph, presented by The Korea Herald, stood out for its commitment to inclusion. Herald Media Group CEO Choi Jin-young said, “The Social Impact Artist Award honors those driving positive change through art. Big Ocean has inspired audiences worldwide with courage and creativity.”

Beyond K-pop, TikTok recognized creators across multiple categories, therefore reflecting global creativity. Amy, known for her “3 a.m. hwachae mukbang,” won Creator of the Year.
