A growing manager dispute now surrounds comedian Park Na Rae after several former managers initiated new legal steps. They revealed their accusations earlier this week and insisted that the manager dispute reflects deeper problems within their previous working environment. As interest rises nationwide, many observers continue following how this manager dispute may escalate further.
According to their statements, the group of former managers submitted a request for a provisional seizure of Park Na Rae’s property on December 3. They visited the Seoul Western District Court themselves and explained that they wanted immediate legal protection before moving forward. They emphasized that this action followed months of internal discussions among the former staff members.
The former managers claimed they worked under intense pressure because Park Na Rae demanded continuous availability. They stated that she frequently instructed them to handle personal errands, including purchasing snacks for late-night gatherings and managing cleanup duties afterward. They also mentioned constant expectations to attend drinking events, even when those activities interfered with their personal responsibilities.
One former manager recounted a particularly troubling moment when Park Na Rae reacted angrily during a drinking session. The manager described an incident where a glass flew toward them during a heated confrontation, which left them frightened and distressed. They explained that this moment pushed them to reconsider their commitment to the job.
Additionally, the managers alleged that Park Na Rae required them to arrange medical appointments and retrieve prescription medication directly. They argued that these tasks created unreasonable stress because those duties extended far beyond their professional roles. They also insisted that they often paid for work-related expenses with their own money because they expected reimbursement later.
However, the former managers said Park Na Rae never returned those costs, despite repeated reminders. Whenever they brought up compensation issues, she reportedly warned them about potential defamation claims. The managers explained that these threats discouraged honest conversations and eventually pushed them to resign entirely.
After resigning, the group calculated their financial and emotional damages and demanded roughly ten billion KRW. They expressed confidence that their lawsuit would highlight systemic issues within their past work environment. Meanwhile, Park Na Rae’s representatives stated that they are currently checking on the matter and reviewing the claims directly.
