McGriddles Return to Taiwan, Sparking Frenzy

Date:

The McGriddles return to Taiwan has caused quite a stir. McDonald’s reintroduced the popular breakfast item Wednesday morning. It features two maple-flavored griddle cakes with bacon or sausage and egg.

On the first day, long lines formed outside McDonald’s outlets across Taiwan. Some eager customers even camped out overnight. The McGriddles return sparked so much excitement that restaurants had to prepare for a rush.

McGriddles will be available daily from 5 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., or until supplies run out. The limited-time offer has a fan base hoping to enjoy the beloved breakfast item before it’s gone.

McGriddles first appeared in Japan, where they became a sensation. They were introduced to Taiwan last year, also for a limited time. That launch saw stores sell out quickly, with some branches running out of stock in just three days.

This time, McDonald’s has tripled the amount of stock. A total of 2.3 million servings will be available across the island. The three flavors include sausage, sausage with egg, and ham with egg.

Local customers are already lining up. One man, surnamed Chang, tried the McGriddles in Japan. He was excited to sample the Taiwanese version and get his hands on the item before it sells out.

Another customer, Chen, expressed a different wish. She hopes that McGriddles will become a permanent menu option, avoiding future long waits in line.

The McGriddles return shows that Taiwan’s love for the item has not faded. As McDonald’s keeps up with demand, customers are hopeful for the future of this popular breakfast treat.

While the return of McGriddles is only for a limited time, it highlights Taiwan’s enthusiasm for unique fast food offerings. Fans of the dish are making sure they don’t miss out on the opportunity to enjoy it.
