Mongolian President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa Visits Czech Republic to Strengthen Bilateral Ties

Mongolian President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa is on a state visit to the Czech Republic from March 9-12, following an invitation from Czech President Petr Pavel. On March 10, the two leaders held official talks aimed at advancing their countries’ growing bilateral relations.

During the discussions, both presidents expressed satisfaction with the active development of ties between Mongolia and the Czech Republic across various socio-economic sectors. They recognized the significant contributions made by both countries in fostering cooperation.

The two leaders emphasized their mutual commitment to furthering bilateral relations, focusing on joint projects that would reflect the strong ties between the nations. They also agreed to increase economic and investment cooperation, particularly in sectors such as environment, health, culture, education, sports, tourism, transport, food, and agriculture.

In addition to these commitments, the presidents discussed opportunities to enhance collaboration within the framework of the United Nations and other international organizations. They also exchanged views on a range of regional and global issues, reinforcing the importance of cooperation on the international stage.

Both Mongolia and the Czech Republic are keen to build on the shared goals outlined in their respective long-term development policies, ensuring that their partnership yields tangible results for both nations.
