Economic relations have continued to expand in recent years. Bilateral trade reached $9.82 billion in 2025. The figure represented strong year-on-year growth. China remained Laos’ largest source of foreign investment and its second-largest trading partner. These trends strengthened the economic foundation of the China-Laos partnership.
