Mongolia Explores Digital Transition in Education with Mozaik Partnership

Date:

Mongolia’s Minister of Education Enkh-Amgalan Luvsantseren met with Mozaik Education Deputy CEO Peter Torok to push forward a digital transition in the country’s school system, the ministry announced. The two sides agreed to form a joint working group of experts to coordinate AI-based educational solutions. This digital transition aims to modernize classrooms without altering the approved curriculum.

The AI tools that Mozaik Education developed can serve various school levels, and the working group will assess feasibility and guide implementation. Consequently, the partnership could speed up Mongolia’s broader digital transition in education. Moreover, the two officials discussed modernizing existing textbooks. They plan to update the materials with clearer illustrations, high-quality images, interactive elements, and animated demonstrations. These changes would make lessons more engaging and easier for today’s students.

Crucially, the transition will keep the approved curriculum content intact while improving how students learn. The ministry, Mozaik Education, and its Mongolian partner Mozaun also agreed to jointly develop an updated roadmap for teacher training. This teacher training roadmap aims to equip educators with the skills to use new digital tools effectively.

The ministry emphasized that textbooks remain important, but the partnership will enrich them with visual and interactive features. As a result, students could experience a more dynamic learning environment. The joint working group will now coordinate next steps and monitor progress. If successful, the digital transition could later expand to more schools across Mongolia.

Looking ahead, the roadmap for teacher training will ensure that instructors are ready to deliver updated lessons. The digital transition reflects Mongolia’s commitment to modernizing education through innovation. For now, the focus is on testing the AI tools and revamping learning materials. The partnership with Mozaik Education could serve as a model for other sectors seeking digital upgrades. Ultimately, this digital transition aims to prepare Mongolian students for a technology-driven world.
