K-pop group Ive will launch an eight-show North American tour beginning July 21 at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto. Starship Entertainment confirmed the run follows the group’s successful Japan dome tour leg. Furthermore, the tour visits Montreal, Austin, Los Angeles, Oakland, and Seattle before concluding in Vancouver on August 9. Consequently, this marks Ive’s second North American touring run and its most ambitious yet.
The Japan dome tour preceding this North American leg demonstrated Ive’s growing commercial strength in Asia. The group drew approximately 90,000 fans over two nights at Kyocera Dome Osaka in April alone. Additionally, their Tokyo Dome show last month sold roughly 37,000 tickets despite taking place on a Wednesday. Total Japan dome attendance across the tour reached approximately 127,000 fans combined.
The upcoming North American tour expands significantly on Ive’s 2024 inaugural regional run. That first visit covered six cities including Los Angeles, Oakland, and Atlanta during the Show What I Have world tour. This time, the itinerary adds three Canadian arena dates, reflecting notably stronger market confidence and audience demand. Moreover, Ive made its first US television appearance in March, performing on a Los Angeles morning show ahead of the current tour.
Ive’s Japanese market performance also continues strengthening alongside its global touring momentum. Its fourth Japanese EP Lucid Dream topped both major Oricon album charts upon its May release. Additionally, the group became the first overseas female act to lead Oricon’s combined chart in approximately 10 months. These chart milestones further reinforce Ive’s position among K-pop’s most commercially successful current girl groups internationally.
For K-pop acts broadly, successfully touring North American arenas signals meaningful mainstream market penetration beyond Asian fan bases. Going forward, Ive’s expanded North American tour with multiple Canadian arena stops signals growing ambitions well beyond its established Asian stronghold. Furthermore, the group’s consistent chart and touring performance positions it strongly for continued global market expansion throughout the remainder of 2026.
