Four Mongolian Teams to Compete in FIBA 3×3 World Tour Chengdu

The 2025 FIBA 3×3 World Tour will continue in Chengdu, China, on May 3-4. Four Mongolian teams will compete in the tournament, representing the nation in both men’s and women’s events.

Mongolia’s men’s teams, “Ulaanbaatar MMC Energy” and “Bayankhairkhan Mig,” will participate in the Chengdu leg. Meanwhile, the women’s teams, “Ulaanbaatar Amazons” and “Mongolia,” will also battle it out on the court.

In the men’s tournament, “Ulaanbaatar MMC Energy” has been placed in Group C. Their opponents include Japan’s “Sagamihara” and Lithuania’s “Raudondvaris Hoptrans.” The team’s roster includes Delgernyam Davaasambuu, Enkhbaatar Onolbaatar, Dulguun Gankhuyag, and Dulguun Enkhbat.

On the other hand, “Bayankhairkhan Mig” will begin in the qualification round. The team will face Japan’s “Yokohama” and Serbia’s “Vračar.” If successful in qualification, they will advance to Group D. The “Bayankhairkhan Mig” squad includes Altangerel Batsaikhan, Avirmed Lkhagvaa, Baasandorj Munkhtur, and Chinguun Uuganbayar.

In the women’s series, “Ulaanbaatar Amazons” will take on teams from the Philippines and Thailand’s “Bangkok CT” in Group B. The team features Khulan Onolbaatar, Bulbul Murat, Nandinkhusel Nyamjav, and Ariuntsetseg Bat-Erdene. Meanwhile, Mongolia’s National Women’s Team, competing as “Mongolia,” will face China and Kazakhstan in Group C. This team includes Tserenlkham Munkhsaikhan, Bolortsetseg Tsendjav, Enkhtuul Bazargurev, and Narangoo Erdenebayan.

The FIBA 3×3 World Tour is a major event in international basketball.
