Indonesia has announced the implementation of anti-dumping import duties on nylon film imports from China, Thailand, and Taiwan, effective this month and set to remain in place for the next four years. The decision follows an investigation by Indonesia’s anti-dumping committee, which concluded that imports from these countries were causing losses to local industries.
Tariff Details and Affected Companies
According to the Ministry of Finance, the import duties will range from 1,254 rupiah to 31,510 rupiah ($0.076-$1.92) per kilogram, depending on the exporting company.

China remains Indonesia’s top trading partner, and nylon film is a crucial material used in food packaging, pharmaceuticals, electronics, and textiles.
