China’s Latest Combat Forces Take Centre Stage in Military Parade

Date:

China’s latest combat forces will take centre stage at an upcoming military parade in Beijing this September. The event will mark the 80th anniversary of victory over Japanese aggression and fascism. Officials confirmed the parade will be held at Tiananmen Square on the morning of September 3. The display will feature both traditional weapons and cutting-edge combat technologies. These include unmanned systems, cyber tools, electronic warfare, hypersonic weapons, and advanced underwater equipment.

Chinese military officials outlined the parade’s structure at a press briefing on Tuesday. The marching formations will highlight the military’s reorganised force structure after recent reforms. Armoured columns will demonstrate advances in China’s equipment systems. Air force echelons will showcase the growing strength of Chinese aerial combat capabilities. China’s latest combat forces will appear alongside these traditional units, offering a glimpse into future warfare.

Wu Zeke, deputy director of the parade’s leadership office, shared further details. He said the equipment will cover the full spectrum of modern military capabilities. This includes command and control, reconnaissance, air defence, missile interception, and precision firepower. The formations will parade in combat-ready groups to show integrated joint operations. Wu also stressed that these forces reflect information dominance and elite tactical deployment. China’s latest combat forces, he noted, will emphasise battlefield adaptability and superior strike precision.

Song Zhongping, a military analyst, highlighted the parade’s broader significance. He said that China’s latest combat forces symbolise the country’s growing defence capabilities. Importantly, all showcased equipment is domestically developed and currently in service. Song also argued that the display will reinforce China’s opposition to any revival of global fascism. Moreover, it will project China’s role as a stabilising force amid global security challenges.

In addition, peacekeeping troops will march in the parade. Their presence underlines China’s commitment to international obligations. The event aims to honour history while signalling China’s pursuit of regional and global peace. Ultimately, China’s latest combat forces will serve to demonstrate technological progress and military readiness. Through this parade, China hopes to showcase its evolving capabilities and strategic intent.
