Lee Chanhyuk’s solo LP will arrive on July 14, as confirmed by YG Entertainment on Monday. This new release, titled “Eros,” marks his second full-length solo album and continues his personal music journey. He launched his first LP, “Error,” in 2022.
That debut album featured a mix of genres and received critical praise. The title track, “Panorama,” earned a spot on NME’s best K-pop songs of the year. Since then, Lee has continued to release solo music. Earlier this year, he put out a digital single titled “1 Trillion.”
Now, Lee Chanhyuk’s solo LP “Eros” aims to deliver a more emotional experience. He explained that the name comes from the Greek god of love. The project will explore deeper personal themes, showcasing his growth as an artist.
In addition to the album, Lee plans a special concert series with his sister, Suhyun. The duo, known as AKMU or Akdong Musician, will return to the stage together. Starting August 8, they will perform nine times in Seoul.
They named the concert series “Akdongdeul,” which means “mischievous kids.” The title reflects their fun, energetic style and close sibling bond. Fans are eager to see them together again after their last major show.
In 2023, they celebrated their 10th anniversary with a concert titled “10VE.” Many fans missed that limited event, so excitement is high for this extended run.
Lee Chanhyuk’s solo LP adds momentum to his growing solo career while keeping AKMU’s fan base engaged. Through this release and live performances, he aims to connect deeply with both new and longtime fans. His creative vision continues to evolve, and many consider this phase a turning point in his music.
With the release of “Eros” and the “Akdongdeul” concert series, Lee is set for a strong return this summer.
