Yunho Flood Donation Aids Victims of Record Rain

Yunho Flood Donation Supports South Korean Rain Victims

Yunho flood donation efforts continue to make a difference as the TVXQ star steps forward once again. This time, he donated 50 million KRW—around $38,000 USD—to help those impacted by South Korea’s devastating summer floods.

The donation, made through the Community Chest of Korea, will support urgent flood relief. Funds will go toward emergency supplies, temporary housing, basic living costs, and recovery projects in hard-hit areas.

As torrential rainfall swept across the nation, thousands were forced to evacuate. According to the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters, as of July 20, at least 28 people lost their lives. More than 9,700 households suffered displacement due to severe flooding.

Despite the grim numbers, public support has grown. Yunho flood donation campaigns are boosting morale and restoring hope in affected regions. In his public statement, Yunho shared his compassion for those impacted.

“I hope this helps our neighbors dealing with sudden flood damage,” he said. “Please stay strong and take care of your health. I sincerely hope for a quick return to daily life.”

This latest act of giving adds to Yunho’s long history of philanthropy. Over the years, he has consistently supported disaster relief across Korea. In 2023, he gave aid during the Gangneung wildfires. In 2022, he contributed to recovery efforts on the East Coast. He also donated during the COVID-19 emergency in 2020 and helped during the Gangwon wildfire in 2019.

Furthermore, Yunho became a member of the Honor Society in 2022. This exclusive group recognizes donors who give more than 100 million KRW. His continued efforts have helped promote a culture of giving nationwide.

Meanwhile, the Community Chest of Korea is still collecting donations. Their flood relief campaign will run until August 17. Citizens are encouraged to contribute and assist struggling families.

As more public figures join the effort, Yunho flood donation efforts serve as a powerful example. Through action and compassion, Korea’s entertainment stars are helping communities recover and rebuild after disaster.
