Mongolian university students are preparing to join the prestigious Seeds for Future program. Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. organizes this global initiative. Specifically, the program focuses on Empowering ICT Talent and helping students develop skills in emerging technologies that shape the future.
Huawei launched Seeds for Future to train young ICT professionals worldwide. In fact, over 200 students from 15 countries will take part in the 2025 program. The training lasts seven days and covers key areas such as 5G networks, artificial intelligence, and cloud computing. Moreover, participants will get an exclusive chance to visit Huawei’s advanced technology exhibition halls. This hands-on exposure helps them better understand cutting-edge innovations in the ICT sector.
Mongolia has been actively involved in the program since 2022. Back then, 28 Mongolian students participated in the national-level program. Additionally, in 2023, 10 education experts from Mongolia attended the international Seeds for Future event held in Doha, Qatar. Their involvement helped strengthen Mongolia’s growing role in Empowering ICT Talent across the region.
Looking ahead to 2025, Mongolian students will once again represent their country in this dynamic global platform. Through the program, they will learn directly from Huawei’s international experts and explore state-of-the-art laboratories. They will also collaborate with peers from around the world. Such rich experiences will help them grow both professionally and personally, preparing them for future careers in technology.
Huawei continues to deepen its partnership with Mongolia’s Ministry of Education and Science. Together, they plan to expand professional training programs and organize more visits to Huawei’s research labs. Consequently, these efforts aim to strengthen Mongolia’s ICT ecosystem and support the country’s digital transformation.
Local universities also play a vital role in preparing students for global challenges. They ensure that young talent gains up-to-date skills and relevant knowledge. Therefore, through these collaborations, Mongolia is making significant progress in Empowering ICT Talent for the future. Beyond technical knowledge, the program offers rich cultural exchange opportunities. Students build lasting friendships and broaden their global outlook. This cultural immersion enriches their overall learning experience.
By joining Seeds for Future, Mongolian students are stepping confidently into the global tech community. With strong support from Huawei and national institutions, they are better equipped to lead in an increasingly digital world. Ultimately, the focus remains clear—Empowering ICT Talent across borders, cultures, and industries.
