Makishima Teru live performances thrilled fans over two days in early August. On August 2nd and 3rd, he held his first solo live concerts named “RePAINT” at New Pier Hall in Tokyo. This event came shortly after the release of his debut full album, RePAINT, in January 2025. From the start, the energy was high as Makishima Teru live shows combined acoustic and band sets, creating a dynamic experience for attendees.

On August 3rd, which was also Makishima Teru’s birthday, fans eagerly gathered to celebrate alongside the artist. The concert began with the band playing the opening track “Origin Seeker.” Then, Teru appeared on stage wearing a casual shirt, immediately connecting with the audience. He launched into “RUN,” the lead song from his new album. Following this, he performed “ATARAYA,” a song produced by Pop Shinanai, which energized the venue with its upbeat rhythm.

During the show, Teru shared his feelings, saying, “Today is my birthday, and this is my first live concert since turning 30.” Naturally, this heartfelt moment resonated deeply with the crowd. Afterward, he performed “Phoenix,” his first anime theme song, followed by other popular tracks such as “Only One More Rendezvous,” “Hide and Seek,” “Deep Silence,” and “Aquarium World.” Consequently, fans cheered enthusiastically, creating a lively atmosphere.

As the concert moved into its second half, Teru sang “RePAINT,” his first self-composed song. Instantly, the tender performance captivated the entire hall. Then, the show ended with emotional ballads like “Maybe We Are” and “Solitude,” along with the anime song “Cuz I,” which raised the energy once more. Teru closed the main set with gratitude, thanking fans warmly.

During the encore, Teru appeared in casual merchandise attire. Fans gave him a joyful birthday cheer, and the band surprised him with a cake. Furthermore, Teru announced a new single set for release in January 2026, alongside plans for a mini album. Finally, the encore songs “RUN” and “Phoenix” closed the night with bright, glittering energy.

Overall, Makishima Teru live concerts have become a memorable celebration of both his music and milestones. Fans now eagerly await his next releases and live appearances.
