Thunder Tiger expands US drone production as it unveils new drones at Taiwan Expo USA in Dallas, Texas. The company announced plans to increase manufacturing of key drone components and motors in the United States. This move aims to strengthen its global market position and enhance collaboration with American industries.

The company’s board recently approved investments to establish production bases in the US. By doing so, Thunder Tiger seeks to improve supply chain independence and reduce reliance on foreign parts. This strategy comes amid rising demand for advanced drone technologies worldwide.

At the Taiwan Expo USA, Thunder Tiger showcased several cutting-edge products. Among these was its first-person view drone series, fully designed and made in Taiwan. The company emphasized that these drones avoid “red” supply chains, ensuring secure and reliable production.

Additionally, Thunder Tiger presented a video demonstrating a suicide attack drone. Developed alongside Taiwan’s National Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology, this drone features AI-enabled precision strike abilities. This collaboration highlights the company’s commitment to innovation and defense technology.

Furthermore, Thunder Tiger introduced the SeaShark 800, an unmanned maritime vessel. The company showed a live demonstration video highlighting its potential use in naval combat and other maritime missions. This product underscores Thunder Tiger’s expansion into unmanned sea platforms.

Another significant display at the expo was Thunder Tiger’s tactical ground station TB-1. Equipped with custom ground control software and high-gain antennas, the system allows real-time drone monitoring and mission management. This feature enhances operational efficiency and control during complex missions.

Taiwan External Trade Development Council Chair Huang Chih-fang visited Thunder Tiger’s booth, praising the company’s technological advancements. The Taiwan Expo USA, which opened on Thursday, spotlights Taiwan’s high-tech industries, including electric vehicles and drones. These sectors drive bilateral trade and investment between Taiwan and the United States.
