The United States has confirmed it will continue funding the Mongolia Water Compact Initiatives after a careful review of its foreign aid programs. Together, the two governments have committed over $462 million to the Mongolia Water Compact Initiatives. This includes $350 million from the U.S. and $112 million in investment from Mongolia. U.S. Ambassador to Mongolia Richard Buangan emphasized the vital importance of the program.
