China-Ecuador Strategic Partnership Gets Boost

Chinese President Xi Jinping congratulated Daniel Noboa on Saturday after his re-election as Ecuador’s president. Meanwhile, Chinese Vice President Han Zheng also extended congratulations on the same day. He sent a message to Ecuador’s Vice President-elect Maria Jose Pinto. Han expressed confidence in Ecuador’s future under the new leadership and welcomed deeper engagement.

Chinese officials continue to view Ecuador as an important partner in Latin America. The two countries have worked together in trade, infrastructure, and cultural exchanges. Their partnership reflects a broader strategy by China to build stronger global ties.
