Enhypen Hits Billboard With Desire

Date:

Enhypen’s latest release, Desire: Unleash, has landed at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, making waves in the global music scene. Indeed, Billboard’s chart preview confirmed the strong debut on Sunday in the United States. Notably, this is the boy band’s eighth time on the chart and their fifth Top 10 entry. Overall, the accomplishment highlights Enhypen’s growing impact in both Western and Asian music markets. Consequently, the group continues to gain momentum with every release.

Moreover, the eight-track project sold over 2.14 million copies within the first week. In fact, this makes Desire: Unleash the second best-selling K-pop album of the year so far. Additionally, the record topped iTunes album charts in twelve different regions across the globe. It also led the Oricon Daily, Weekly, and Combined Album Rankings in Japan. Furthermore, the title track “Bad Desire” secured first place on three major Korean music shows.

Meanwhile, fans celebrated the new release across multiple platforms, boosting its visibility and chart performance. As a result, the combination of strong global sales and domestic acclaim gave Desire: Unleash a powerful debut. Not surprisingly, Enhypen’s ability to connect with fans worldwide played a big role in its success. The album’s themes of ambition and transformation, in particular, resonated with listeners. Therefore, this achievement reinforces their presence among K-pop’s top-tier acts.

Looking ahead, the band is preparing for more international activities in the coming months. On July 29, they will release their fourth Japanese single, titled “Yoi.” Interestingly, this marks their first Japanese single in two years. The release comes, significantly, between scheduled concerts in Tokyo and Osaka. Clearly, Enhypen aims to strengthen their Japanese fanbase with this upcoming track.

All in all, many expect Desire: Unleash to stay on the charts for several more weeks. With consistent performances and global reach, Enhypen continues its upward trajectory. In particular, their ability to blend musical versatility with strong visual storytelling sets them apart. The band, importantly, remains committed to evolving its sound and image. For now, Desire: Unleash keeps the spotlight firmly on them.
