Extreme Sports Area Boosts Recreation in Bayanzurkh District

Date:

Residents in eastern Ulaanbaatar now have access to an exciting extreme sports area in Bayanzurkh District’s 10th khoroo. The newly opened park offers a wide variety of outdoor activities for all age groups.

Located just 300 meters from the main road to Nalaikh District, this recreational spot brings fresh energy to the area. Urban planners designed the park to support active lifestyles and family bonding.

The highlight of the space is the expansive extreme sports area, attracting thrill-seekers and athletes alike. A new skating section will soon join the lineup, further enhancing the park’s appeal.

Beyond extreme sports, the site offers a drive-in cinema and an open-air stage. These venues will host movie nights and live performances during the warmer months. Visitors can also enjoy a beach volleyball court and a modern children’s playground.

Fitness enthusiasts can use the outdoor gym equipment or play at the 3×3 basketball court. Cyclists and pedestrians benefit from well-marked paths and a convenient bike rental area.

In addition, a bright commercial street offers snacks, drinks, and shopping options for park-goers. Landscaped green zones provide relaxing spaces for picnics and quiet moments.

City officials say the new park addresses the need for more public spaces in the eastern part of the capital. Families now have a welcoming destination for leisure, sports, and outdoor fun.

The park promises to become a local hotspot as temperatures rise. With so many features, it encourages community gathering and physical activity.

As summer approaches, residents are expected to make full use of the new extreme sports area and all the surrounding amenities. This space stands ready to energize the Bayanzurkh community.
