Jungkook Milestone Reached on Spotify

Date:

Jungkook milestone reached again as the BTS star’s solo single “Please Don’t Change” hit 200 million streams on Spotify. Big Hit Music confirmed the achievement on Thursday, emphasizing his global influence as a solo artist.

This is the 12th solo track by Jungkook to reach 200 million plays. It is also the fifth song from his debut solo album “Golden” to cross this mark, showing the album’s broad popularity.

“Please Don’t Change” is a side track from “Golden,” released in November 2023. The album climbed again on Spotify’s Weekly Top Albums Global Chart at number 76. Its record run now totals 105 weeks, making it the longest-charting K-pop solo album ever.

The achievement shows Jungkook’s ability to draw both BTS fans and new listeners. Industry analysts note that multiple streaming milestones highlight K-pop solo artists’ growing international reach.

Meanwhile, Jungkook prepares for a new project with BTS member Jimin. The teaser for “Are You Sure?” dropped earlier this week. The reality show follows their travels in Switzerland and Vietnam. The eight-part series is scheduled to air next month.

Experts say combining music milestones with multimedia exposure strengthens Jungkook’s brand while boosting K-pop’s global visibility. Repeated streaming achievements also confirm BTS members’ continued dominance internationally.

Big Hit Music celebrated the Jungkook milestone, calling it proof of his expanding influence. Fans expect the upcoming show to drive more streams for “Golden” and other tracks.

Overall, the Jungkook milestone highlights his sustained momentum across multiple platforms. With his solo album still charting and new content ahead, experts predict continued growth in his solo career.
