Finally, they edged out Thailand’s Hi-Tech Basketball Club 63–59 in a gritty, close contest. As a result, Khasyn Khuleguud in BCL East Asia now top the group with a 3–0 record.
Although still early in the competition, their winning streak signals Mongolia’s rising presence in East Asian basketball. The tournament, hosted by FIBA, features elite clubs from the region competing for two slots in the BCL Asia finals. While many expected regional giants to dominate, the Mongolian squad proved otherwise with skill, coordination, and resilience.
