Kim Sae Ron’s Husband Shares Statement, Denies Allegations and Reveals Marriage Certificate

Date:

The husband of the late actress Kim Sae Ron has stepped forward to address what he calls “severe slander” and false allegations surrounding his relationship with the actress, following her untimely death in February. In a written statement released through Garo Sero Research Institute, he provided clarity on their marriage and denied accusations that had emerged from various sources, including YouTuber Lee Jin Ho and an ex-boyfriend of Kim Sae Ron.

According to his statement, the couple met in late November 2024 and experienced a deep connection that led them to legally marry in the United States on January 12, 2025. The ceremony was reportedly small, attended only by witnesses. Along with the statement, he released a photograph of their official marriage certificate as proof of their union.

“I was just an ordinary person living my life when I met Kim Sae Ron,” he wrote. “We fell for each other quickly and made the decision to marry. Unfortunately, we later realized we had rushed into it without proper thought.”

He further explained that the decision to annul the marriage was mutual and stemmed from practical challenges — including the pressures of a long-distance relationship, contrasting personalities, and the realization that their commitment had been made too hastily.

Addressing circulating rumors, he firmly denied any involvement in the alleged assault or blackmail and expressed concern over what he described as ongoing damage to Kim Sae Ron’s reputation. “I carefully debated whether or not to make this public, but I could no longer stand by while distorted truths continued to harm Sae Ron’s memory,” he stated.

His message concluded with a plea for understanding, noting that he continues to grieve her loss deeply and is seeking to preserve the truth out of respect for the actress and her family.
