Date:

E-commerce giant Momo is making a bold move to boost Central Taiwan by building a major logistics hub in Changhua. Recently, the company held a topping-out ceremony to mark progress on this important facility. This investment highlights Momo’s strategy to boost Central Taiwan’s delivery infrastructure. It also aims to serve the rising consumer demand in the region.

The new logistics center will cost NT$7.6 billion (about US$249 million). It will become Momo’s largest hub in central Taiwan. The facility will rise eight stories above ground and include two basement levels. Covering roughly 128,700 square meters, it offers plenty of space for warehousing and operations.

Importantly, Momo plans to store over one million products here. This move will increase overall inventory capacity by 20%. Consequently, it will improve supply chain resilience. Moreover, the company can respond more quickly to changes in demand and shipping needs.

Once fully operational, the hub will connect with Momo’s northern and southern logistics centers. This connection will create a nationwide network. As a result, faster and more efficient deliveries will become possible. In particular, same-day delivery will expand to cities such as Hsinchu, Taichung, Tainan, and Kaohsiung.

Momo’s choice to boost Central Taiwan comes from strong consumer demand in the area. The company sees this market as vital to maintaining competitiveness. Therefore, investing in this hub will allow faster deliveries and better service. This way, customers will enjoy greater convenience.

Additionally, the new hub will create about 550 jobs. Momo plans to prioritize hiring residents from Changhua. This decision will stimulate the local economy. It will also strengthen the company’s ties to the community.

In summary, Momo’s logistics hub will significantly boost Central Taiwan’s e-commerce landscape. By expanding capacity, speeding up deliveries, and creating jobs, Momo shows its clear commitment to boost Central Taiwan. The company is setting new standards in logistics efficiency nationwide.untry.
