Mongolia celebrated National Pride Day on November 21, 2025, honoring the 863rd Anniversary of Chinggis Khaan’s birth. The event highlighted the enduring Chinggis Khaan legacy and Mongolia’s unity.
In the capital, the Armed Forces’ Unit 032 and the State Special Security Forces raised the national flag and honored the State Nine White Banners at Sukhbaatar Square. A brass band performed the national anthem during the ceremony.
President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, Prime Minister Zandanshatar Gombojav, and State Great Khural Chairman Uchral Nyam-Osor paid tribute to the statue of Chinggis Khaan in front of the State Palace. Their participation emphasized the lasting Chinggis Khaan legacy and inspired national pride.
President Khurelsukh awarded the Order of Chinggis Khaan, Mongolia’s highest state honor, to several distinguished individuals. Recipients included those who strengthened Mongolia’s sovereignty, advanced democratic and humanitarian values, and promoted social progress. The award also recognized contributions to preserving and transmitting Mongolian culture, history, and statehood traditions for future generations.
