Seventeen Member Joshua Scheduled for Landmark UNESCO Youth Support Speech in Paris

Date:

K-pop group Seventeen will strengthen its global philanthropic presence through an official United Nations address next week. Management agency Pledis Entertainment confirmed on Tuesday that group member Joshua will deliver a major keynote speech. Specifically, the artist will address an international audience at the UNESCO headquarters in Paris on June 25. The high-profile appearance aims to advocate for global youth support networks and celebrate creative development among younger generations. Consequently, this upcoming presentation marks another significant milestone for the thirteen-member musical act on the international stage.

The speech will formally highlight a joint humanitarian campaign for youth creativity and wellness. Joshua will represent his entire musical group during the ceremony to spread a message of global solidarity. This specific initiative focuses heavily on providing critical resources, funding, and mentorship to creative youth communities worldwide. Furthermore, the collaborative program seeks to improve mental health and foster artistic confidence among marginalized younger demographics. Through this international platform, the organization hopes to inspire worldwide leaders to increase localized youth support investments.

The upcoming presentation builds upon a deep history of charitable contributions and official diplomatic roles for the group. For instance, the organization appointed the prominent musical act as its official youth goodwill ambassadors last year. Following that prestigious appointment, the members collectively donated one million dollars to establish a global youth fund. Additionally, the performers recently contributed significant financial aid to support underprivileged middle school students residing in Laos. These extensive charitable efforts successfully commemorate eleven years of commercial success since the group first debuted.

Meanwhile, the performers will balance their heavy diplomatic schedules with major domestic entertainment events in South Korea. The group will host its massive annual fan meetups at the Asiad Main Stadium in Incheon. These large-scale live performances will take place across consecutive sessions on Saturday and Sunday. Management expects thousands of domestic and international music fans to attend the celebration over the weekend. Ultimately, these diverse activities demonstrate how the group successfully balances major commercial entertainment with impactful global youth support.
