Not only does it feature dual motors, but it also navigates and recharges on its own. Consequently, it increases cow feeding from twice to four times daily. This boost has raised milk production by up to 30%. Furthermore, ITRI has introduced a farm-cleaning robot. It can work in various barn conditions. Because of its smart navigation, the robot avoids animals and obstacles. It vacuums waste as it moves, then returns automatically to recharge.
In addition, ITRI presented a cow vocal recognition system. This system reads cow emotions and alerts farmers to upcoming births. Notably, it has achieved 80% accuracy in predicting calving and 70% in emotion detection. Meanwhile, Two-Shoulder AI Co. is showcasing several smart farming tools. For instance, it built an indoor shrimp farming system with the Fisheries Research Institute. The system uses AI to monitor shrimp growth and water quality. As a result, it reduces the need for antibiotics.
Moreover, Two-Shoulder AI features a sow farrowing prediction tool. Developed with the Livestock Research Institute, it delivers a 12-hour early warning. This has helped boost piglet survival by 20% per litter.The expo also includes a section focused on livestock health and nutrition.
Total Nutrition Technologies is promoting peptide-protein and probiotic formulas. Wonder Vax is offering a vaccine that protects poultry from bronchitis. Vetnostrum Animal Health is presenting feed additives and supplements for livestock care.Overall, these smart farming tools are transforming agriculture. With innovation on full display, the Asia Agri-Tech Expo marks a step forward for the industry.
